  Recommendations
Below are some recommendations of resources and informational sources that are useful for learning the art of screenwriting and developing writing skills in general.

Books and classes are the most beneficial for learning how to write scripts. Websites seem to provide good information on the screenwriting and movie industry as well as access to movie scripts to read.

For continuing to develop writing skills, magazines and in particular DVDs with the script-to-screen feature are very useful tools. Being able to watch a scene and read the script at the same time (or you can read it before watching if that's your preference) is a fantastic way to see how established screenwriters words are structured and developed for the screen.
